How much does an Ethiopia tour package cost?
Our private day tours in and around Addis Ababa start from USD 65 per person, and multi-day journeys start from about USD 600 per person for two days in Harar. Longer trips, such as 8 days in historic northern Ethiopia, start from USD 2,400 per person. The final price depends on your dates, group size, hotels and whether domestic flights are needed.
Are your tours private?
Yes. Every tour is private, with your own vehicle, driver and local guide, so the pace and stops are planned around you. Solo travellers are very welcome.
Can I change a tour package or combine two tours?
Yes. Every package can be adjusted. You can add or remove days, choose different hotels, combine regions, for example Lalibela with the Danakil Depression, or add a day trip from Addis Ababa.
What is included in the price?
Each tour page lists exactly what is included and what is not. Day tours usually include private transport, a local guide and entrance fees. Multi-day tours can also include accommodation, meals, domestic flights and local guides in each region.
How far in advance should I book?
For multi-day trips we recommend booking a few weeks ahead, especially from October to March and around festivals such as Meskel and Timkat, when flights and good hotels fill up. Day tours can often be arranged at short notice.
How do I book a tour?
